The island’s distinctive architecture and its Cycladic influences are reflected throughout Aelia while the natural daylight that floods the apartments, inspired us for its name. “Aelia” in the Homeric language means the energy derived from the sun and our main criteria in designing the rooms was to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for our guests.
The interiors are in full harmony with the calmness of the surroundings and are refined by a soothing, tonal color palette while the fabrics, linen and mattresses are all of natural materials. Fully equipped kitchens with all the modern amenities and build-in beds impressively arched towards the privacy of individual terraces, will definitely make you feel like home.

St. Peter’s village lies at the foot of the hill with spectacular views to the deep blue of the Aegean Sea. Aelia is conveniently located 400 meters from the seafront of the stunning St. Peter’s beach; the longest beach on the island with fine-grained and gilded sand, and just 2 km from Andros’ port. In this magical location, where the hill meets the sea, unspoiled natural beauty and the slowed rhythms of Cycladic life prevails!
Andros Island is “the dazzling queen of the Aegean… the most beautiful of all the world”, as Andreas Embirikos said. Indeed Andros differs greatly from the Cycladic islands thanks to its geographical contrasts which combine the dry Cycladic landscape with rich vegetation and abundant waters. Plenty of beautiful beaches, water sources, monasteries, hiking paths as well as the picturesque villages around the island embody an authentic Greek experience.
